Thai Police Reward Citizens for Traffic Safety Contributions

The Royal Thai Police, in collaboration with partner organizations, recently held an award ceremony for the 'Traffic Eye Volunteer' project. According to Khaosod Online, the initiative encourages the public to submit dashcam footage to help identify traffic violations and promote safer driving habits.

During the event held at the Royal Thai Police headquarters, officials presented 20 awards to citizens whose submissions were selected for the months of April and May 2026. The total prize pool of 100,000 THB was sponsored by Viriyah Insurance. Police Lieutenant General Nitithorn Jintakanon, head of the traffic image enhancement working group, presided over the ceremony, which has been running since 2022.
