On September 9, 2026, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supajee Suthumpun led a delegation of 20 Thai entrepreneurs to the Bharat Nutraverse Expo 2026 in New Delhi, India. The initiative aims to showcase Thailand’s potential in the herbal, functional food, and nutraceutical industries while fostering a 'Co-Creation' model between the two nations. By combining Thai and Indian raw materials, traditional knowledge, and innovation, the partnership seeks to expand the global market reach for health-related products.
During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between SHEFEXIL and THIA to formalize cooperation in the herbal and health product sectors. Minister Supajee highlighted that India’s expertise in Ayurvedic knowledge and biodiversity complements Thailand’s own natural resources, creating a strategic synergy for future development.
