BIG Expands Logistics Fleet with Scania Euro5 Trucks

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Bangkok Industrial Gas (BIG) has announced an expansion of its logistics fleet through a partnership with Scania. The company is integrating Scania Super Euro5 trucks into its operations to facilitate the nationwide transport of industrial gases.

This initiative is driven by the increasing demand for low-carbon gases from the electronics and data center sectors in Thailand. BIG, a subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., aims to ensure a continuous, 24-hour supply chain for its clients. The company selected the Scania Super Euro5 models based on their reported efficiency, safety standards, and cost-effectiveness.
