TIPH Announces Strategic Shift to Expand Retail Insurance Market
Dhipaya Group Holdings (TIPH) is restructuring its portfolio to increase its retail insurance share to 50% within three years, supported by the launch of the 'TIPSOL' platform.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Dhipaya Group Holdings (TIPH) has announced a strategic shift in its business model, aiming to increase its retail insurance portfolio from the current 35% to 50% over the next three years. As part of this expansion, the company has introduced 'TIPSOL,' a new platform designed to integrate insurance services with consumer lifestyles. The company anticipates that this initiative will generate 500 million baht in premiums within the first 12 months of operation.
For residents and expatriates in Thailand, this move signals a broader trend toward more accessible, lifestyle-oriented insurance products in the local market. As the company seeks to diversify its offerings, consumers may see an increase in digital-first insurance options tailored to daily activities.
Looking ahead, TIPH has set a growth target for 2026, aiming for a 5% increase in total premiums to reach 33 billion baht. While the company has outlined these ambitious growth targets and the launch of its new platform, the long-term impact on market competition and the specific range of services available to individual policyholders remain to be confirmed as the strategy unfolds over the coming years.
