Thailand Announces Fuel Price Increases Effective September 9, 2026
Retail fuel prices across Thailand are set to rise, with gasoline and gasohol increasing by 0.80 baht per liter and diesel by 0.70 baht per liter.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, PTT Station has announced a retail price adjustment for fuel products effective from 5:00 AM on September 9, 2026.
Most gasoline and gasohol variants will see an increase of 0.80 baht per liter, while diesel variants will rise by 0.70 baht per liter. Notably, premium gasoline (GSH95 and GSH99) and premium diesel products are excluded from this price hike and will remain at their current rates. Following the adjustment, the retail price for standard gasoline will be 48.08 baht per liter, gasohol 95 will be 39.09 baht per liter, and gasohol E20 will be 34.09 baht per liter.
For residents and travelers in Thailand, this change will likely impact daily transportation costs and may lead to slight increases in the price of goods and services reliant on logistics.
