According to a report by Matichon Online on September 8, 2026, local leadership, represented by the figure known as 'Nayok Jazz,' is coordinating with the Bangkok Governor, the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA), and the Fine Arts Department to initiate a major urban development project. The parties are preparing to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at transforming 100 rai of land situated along the Chao Phraya River.
A primary objective of this initiative is the construction of a new bridge designed to address persistent traffic congestion in the area. For residents and frequent visitors to the capital, this project represents a significant potential shift in local infrastructure and riverfront accessibility.
