Isuzu Expands 'Water for Life' Initiative to Ubon Ratchathani
Isuzu Thailand has installed its 47th clean water system at Ban Lai Sung School in Ubon Ratchathani province as part of its long-term corporate social responsibility program.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, the Isuzu Group in Thailand has officially handed over a new clean drinking water system to Ban Lai Sung School, located in the Trakan Phuet Phon district of Ubon Ratchathani. This installation marks the 47th site completed under the company’s long-term 'Isuzu Water for Life' initiative.
Hiroyasu Sato, Managing Director of Tri Petch Isuzu Sales, stated that the project aims to provide sustainable access to clean water for students, faculty, and the surrounding community. The initiative is presented as a core component of the company’s 'Isuzu Way' philosophy, which emphasizes social development alongside business operations. The project was executed in collaboration with the Office of Groundwater Resources Region 11, under the Department of Groundwater Resources.
For residents and travelers, this development highlights ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure in rural Thai provinces. While the project provides immediate benefits to the school and local community, it serves as a reminder of the importance of water security in regional areas. It remains to be confirmed how many additional schools are slated for similar installations in the coming year, as the company has described this as an ongoing, long-term commitment to Thai society.
