Khlong Tan Police Identify Suspect in Student Harassment Case
Authorities have identified a man accused of repeatedly harassing a female student in Bangkok, following reports of public indecency and stalking.
According to a report by Khaosod Online on September 8, 2026, Khlong Tan police have identified a male suspect accused of harassing a female student. The case gained public attention after the Facebook page 'Jae Moy v+' shared warnings regarding a man who allegedly exposed himself to a student from his vehicle.
The victim’s mother reported that the harassment escalated beyond public indecency. Despite the student attempting to change her route home by using a boat, the suspect reportedly followed her, boarded the same vessel, and continued to track her movements. On September 2, the suspect allegedly followed the student to a pier and shouted at her when she did not respond to his questions. The mother noted that the individual appeared to have knowledge of the student's school, causing significant distress to the family.
For residents and visitors, this incident highlights the importance of remaining vigilant in public spaces and reporting suspicious behavior to local authorities immediately. The victim has filed a formal complaint with the Khlong Tan Police Station. While police have identified the suspect, the investigation is ongoing, and further details regarding the suspect's apprehension or potential legal charges remain to be confirmed by official sources.
