Thailand’s Boxing Team Prepares for 2026 Asian Games
The Thailand Boxing Association has finalized its 11-member squad for the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya, with high hopes for female boxer Natnicha Jongprongklang.
On September 8, 2026, the Thailand Boxing Association held a send-off ceremony at the Thailand International Boxing Training Center (TIBTC) for the national team heading to the 20th Asian Games. The event, scheduled to take place in Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026, will feature an 11-member Thai boxing squad.
During the ceremony, Association President Pichai Chunhavajira addressed the athletes, highlighting Natnicha Jongprongklang, who competes in the women’s 54 kg category, as a primary contender for a gold medal. The team is scheduled to travel to Nagoya for a 12-day training camp prior to the start of the competition.
