Scammers are reportedly using the company’s name, logo, and contact channels to create fake social media pages and impersonate staff members.
These bad actors aim to trick customers into transferring money or disclosing sensitive personal information. The company noted that these fraudulent attempts have become increasingly sophisticated, often utilizing imagery that closely mimics official branding to appear legitimate.
For residents and visitors in Thailand, this serves as a reminder to exercise caution when engaging with financial services online. Easy Money advises the public to verify the authenticity of any contact by checking their official website at www.easymoney.co.th. Specifically, the company emphasizes that all legitimate transactions must be made to accounts registered under “T2P Company Limited” or “T2P (Easy Money Shop).”
Users are urged to follow the principle of “Check before believing, check before transferring.” This includes verifying the list of 40 official Facebook pages provided on their website and never sharing passwords or private data.
