On the evening of September 7, 2026, a fatal shooting occurred at a temple in the Sena sub-district of Uthai, Ayutthaya. According to reports from Khaosod Online, local police were alerted to the scene around 9:00 PM. Upon arrival, authorities discovered a silver pickup truck parked near a temple pavilion with visible bullet impacts on the hood and driver-side door.
Inside the vehicle, 44-year-old Mr. Anek was found deceased from a gunshot wound to the temple. A 44-year-old woman, identified as Ms. Suphawinee, was discovered near the vehicle suffering from critical gunshot wounds to her face and torso. She was transported to Uthai Hospital for emergency medical care. Preliminary investigations suggest the incident involved a former partner of the female victim, who allegedly fled the scene in a pickup truck after the attack. Reports indicate the suspect may have sent photographs of the aftermath to the woman’s relatives.
