Naruphon Yenprasert Leads NIDA Poll for Nonthaburi PAO President
A recent NIDA poll shows Naruphon Yenprasert leading the race for Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization President, though a significant portion of voters remain undecided.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) released survey results regarding the upcoming election for the President of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO). The poll, conducted between August 31 and September 2, 2026, surveyed 1,100 eligible voters in Nonthaburi province.
The results indicate that Naruphon Yenprasert, representing the Phueng Luang group, leads the field with 37.27% support. Decharut Sukkamnerd from the People's Party follows in second place with 27.55%. Notably, 22.73% of respondents stated they have not yet decided on their preferred candidate.
For residents and those living in the Nonthaburi area, this election is significant as it determines local leadership responsible for provincial development and public services. Naruphon has stated he remains cautious despite the lead, noting that a substantial segment of the electorate has yet to make a final choice, with some residents reportedly unaware of the election date itself.
