On September 7, 2026, Minister of Tourism and Sports Surasak Phancharoenworakul chaired a meeting at the Government Complex in Chaeng Watthana to discuss the future of the Prime Minister’s Youth Cup. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the Ministry is preparing a proposal for the Cabinet to formalize the tournament as a continuous five-year initiative.
The program aims to develop structured football and volleyball pathways for youth across the country.
