National Housing Authority Opens Pattaya Site for Sports Club Development
The National Housing Authority (NHA) is seeking investors to lease a 5-rai plot in Pattaya for a 15-year sports and commercial project.
According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the National Housing Authority (NHA) has announced an opportunity for investors to lease a 5-rai plot of land located within the Pattaya Community Housing Project Phase 2 in Na Chom Thian, Sattahip, Chon Buri. The 15-year lease agreement covers existing facilities, including a sports club building, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a parking area.
NHA Governor Taweepong Wichaidit stated that the initiative aims to maximize the utility of state assets, generate local employment, and stimulate the community economy. The project is intended to function as a sports center and a hub for commercial activities. For residents and visitors in the Pattaya area, this development could eventually provide new recreational facilities and services once the bidding process concludes and a developer is selected.
While the NHA has outlined its intent to revitalize the site, several details remain to be confirmed. Specifically, the identity of the successful bidder, the exact timeline for the commencement of operations, and the specific range of commercial services that will be available to the public have not yet been determined.
