Abbot of Wat Pa Adulyaram Expresses Concern Over Land Title Status
The abbot of Wat Pa Adulyaram in Khon Kaen has publicly voiced concerns regarding the temple's land title, which has yet to be officially registered under the temple's name.
According to a report by Thai Post on September 7, 2026, the atmosphere at Wat Pa Adulyaram, located in the Kangsadal community of Khon Kaen, has returned to a state of normalcy. Despite ongoing administrative uncertainty, monks and disciples continue their daily religious duties, and local devotees are visiting the temple to offer candles and donations as part of their regular merit-making activities.
The abbot of the temple has expressed personal anxiety regarding the current status of the land title, which is not yet registered in the name of the temple. He stated a desire for a swift resolution to the matter to alleviate his concerns. Meanwhile, officers from the Mueang Khon Kaen Police Station are maintaining a presence at the site to ensure order and security within the temple grounds.
For residents and visitors, the temple remains open and operational for religious activities. While the situation appears calm, the legal status of the land remains a point of concern for the temple leadership. It is not yet confirmed when the land title registration process will be finalized or if further administrative actions will be required to resolve the issue. Visitors are advised to respect the ongoing religious practices and the privacy of the monastic community during this period.
