Sansiri Launches Eco-Friendly Playgrounds from Recycled Plastic
Thai real estate developer Sansiri has partnered with four green organizations to transform 50,000 plastic bottle caps into playgrounds, marking a step toward its 2050 Net Zero goal.
According to a report by Thai Post, major real estate developer Sansiri has initiated a sustainability project titled “Waste to WORTH.” By collaborating with four environmental partners, the company has successfully repurposed 50,000 plastic bottle caps into eco-friendly playgrounds. The first three of these installations have already been delivered to residential projects located in the Ratchaphruek-Tat Mai zone.
This initiative serves as a tangible milestone in Sansiri’s broader roadmap to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050. For residents and visitors, this development highlights a growing trend in Thailand’s urban planning, where large-scale developers are increasingly integrating circular economy principles into community infrastructure. These playgrounds offer a practical example of how waste management can be directly integrated into residential living spaces.
