According to a report from Khaosod Online, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul has signed an order appointing three experts to the Data Center Policy Committee. This committee operates under the 2026 Prime Minister's Office regulations, which mandate that a Deputy Prime Minister serves as chair, supported by up to three appointed experts.
The newly appointed members are Chote Trachu, former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Supot Teachavorasinskun, former Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University; and Teer Jiasiripongkul, Vice Rector for Rangsit Center Administration at Thammasat University. These appointments became effective on September 3, 2026.
