Royal Offering Presented to Somdet Phra Buddhaghosacariya
The Governor of Nakhon Pathom recently presented royal robes and offerings to the esteemed Buddhist scholar Somdet Phra Buddhaghosacariya at Wat Yanwesakawan.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, the Governor of Nakhon Pathom, Arocha Nantamontri, recently presided over a ceremony at Wat Yanwesakawan in Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom. Acting on behalf of His Majesty the King, the Governor presented royal robes and sangkhathan (offerings) to Somdet Phra Buddhaghosacariya (Prayudh Payutto), the abbot of the temple.
The ceremony was attended by provincial officials and local residents. During the event, the Governor performed traditional rites, including paying respects before the royal portrait of His Majesty the King, before formally offering the items to the abbot.
