Nan Flood Relief Payments Begin September 8
The Thai government is initiating the first round of flood relief payments for 15,215 households in Nan province, totaling 136 million baht.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, the Thai government is set to begin distributing flood relief payments to affected residents in Nan province starting September 8, 2026. Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, Captain Pattarasmi Thongsaluaykorn, announced that the cabinet approved the measure on August 25 to provide financial assistance to those impacted by recent flooding.
The initial disbursement will provide 9,000 baht per household to 15,215 families, with a total budget allocation of approximately 136 million baht. This initiative is intended to support recovery efforts for residents who suffered property damage during the inundation.
