Mystery Creature Sighting Sparks Debate in Samut Songkhram

On September 6, 2026, the Samut Songkhram Provincial Fisheries Office issued a public warning regarding a creature resembling a crocodile, estimated to be 2–3 meters long, spotted near the embankment in front of Wat Bang Kluay in the Bang Khonthi District. While authorities discovered mysterious tracks and drag marks in the mud, they have not yet confirmed the identity of the animal.
