On September 6, 2026, the final round of the Thailand Balance Bike Championship, held under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, took place at the Kamol Sports Park in Bangkok’s Nong Chok district. According to Khaosod Online, the event was presided over by Assistant Professor Pimol Srivikorn, President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand.
Organizers highlighted the event's success in fostering family engagement and developing young athletic talent. The competition concluded with the selection of young riders to represent Thailand at the 2027 Asian Championships. The event drew significant digital engagement, with over 20,000 views recorded across Facebook and YouTube live streams.
For residents and visitors, the event underscores the growing popularity of youth cycling sports in Thailand. General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Thai Cycling Association, indicated that organizers are currently considering hosting one of the championship rounds in Southern Thailand next year. While this expansion is under consideration, official dates and specific locations for the 2027 season have yet to be confirmed.
