During a press conference held on September 6, 2026, at the Vajiravudh Scout Camp, local officials and association leaders—including Senior District Officer Jintana Jeeracheewin and Association President Sermsak Ramtim—outlined the festival's objectives. The event aims to preserve and promote Southern Thai cultural heritage within the Chonburi region. Key activities highlighted for the celebration include the traditional 'Ching Pret' ritual, a symbolic offering ceremony for ancestors, and the distribution of educational scholarships to local students.
