Construction Begins on Red Line Railway Extensions

According to a report by Prachachat Business, construction has officially begun on the second phase of the Red Line railway extensions. The project includes two primary segments: the route connecting Siriraj, Taling Chan, and Salaya, which will feature three additional stations, and the extension from Rangsit to Thammasat University’s Rangsit campus.

Unique Engineering and Construction Public Company Limited has been appointed as the contractor for these developments. For residents and frequent travelers, these extensions are expected to improve connectivity between the northern suburbs of Pathum Thani and the western outskirts in Nakhon Pathom, potentially easing transit times to central Bangkok.
