The Sports Authority of Thailand has announced the broadcast schedule for the 20th Asian Games, featuring national teams and a new ceremonial uniform design.
According to Khaosod Online, the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) has confirmed that live broadcasts for the 20th Asian Games, held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, will commence on September 10, 2026. SAT Governor Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee stated that the coverage will begin with various basketball matches.
For Thai sports fans, the schedule highlights the women’s football team, the 'Chaba Kaew,' who are set to face the host nation, Japan, on September 14. This will be followed by the men’s U-23 'Chang Suek' team, which will play their opening match against Kyrgyzstan on September 16. The official opening ceremony for the games is scheduled for September 19, 2026.
Beyond the competition, Dr. Kongsak highlighted the official ceremonial uniforms for the Thai national team, designed by the brand SIRIVANNAVARI. The design is intended to blend traditional Thai identity with contemporary aesthetics.
