According to Khaosod Online Thailand, 15-year-old figure skater Hiro Kaewtathip achieved a historic milestone for Thailand by winning a bronze medal at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Bangkok 2026. The competition, held from September 3 to 5 at the IWIS International Training Center, featured young athletes from around the globe.
Kaewtathip, who recently secured an Asian championship title, demonstrated strong form throughout the event. He earned 81.55 points during the Short Program, maintaining a third-place position that ultimately led to his podium finish. This achievement marks the first time a Thai athlete has medaled in the ISU Junior Grand Prix series.
