Chainat MP Participates in Boat Rescue Training Program
Anucha Nakasai, MP for Chainat, joined a two-day boat rescue and water safety training course to enhance emergency response capabilities.
On September 4-5, 2026, Anucha Nakasai, a Member of Parliament for Chainat (Pheu Thai Party), participated in a specialized 'Boat Rescue' training course. According to Khaosod Online, the program was organized by the Crisis and Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Team Island Chainat to improve the efficiency of rescue personnel in providing timely assistance to the public.
The training, supported by the Marine Department and the Suphan Buri Regional Marine Office, focused on equipping participants with the skills necessary to minimize casualties during water-related emergencies. A key component of the course was ensuring that operators are trained to navigate vessels in compliance with legal standards, with successful participants receiving official boat operator licenses.
For residents and travelers, this initiative highlights ongoing efforts to professionalize local emergency response teams across several provinces, including Bangkok, Suphan Buri, and Chonburi. During the event, Anucha also donated a rescue boat to the Ruamkatanyu Chainat team to bolster their operational capacity. While the training aims to improve safety standards, it remains to be confirmed how these newly certified operators will be integrated into broader regional disaster management protocols. The event marks the second time this specific training has been conducted by the organizing teams.
