Missing Woman Found After Seven-Day Disappearance in Kanchanaburi Case
A 33-year-old woman has been located after disappearing for a week, as police investigate suspicious circumstances involving her partner and vehicle discrepancies.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, 33-year-old Wichuda, known as 'Lookpla,' has been found after a seven-day disappearance that sparked significant concern among her family. Lookpla was last seen on August 28, 2026, when she was picked up by her boyfriend, identified as Nat, from her sister’s residence in Lat Ya, Kanchanaburi.
Family members became alarmed when Nat denied being with her despite evidence to the contrary, and because Lookpla had never previously left her 13-year-old son for such an extended period. The investigation intensified after authorities tracked Nat’s pickup truck to Chiang Mai. On September 5, 2026, police confirmed that Lookpla was located while attempting to board a bus from Chiang Mai back to Kanchanaburi.
For residents and travelers, this case highlights the importance of reporting missing persons promptly when unusual behavior or communication gaps occur. While Lookpla has been found, the situation remains under investigation. Police have noted discrepancies in the statements provided by those involved and have identified issues regarding the vehicle, specifically that the license plates did not match the chassis number. Authorities are currently working to clarify the events of the past week and the nature of the inconsistencies found during the inquiry. Further details are expected as the police continue their questioning.
