A collision between a pickup truck and a motorcycle in Nonthaburi resulted in one fatality and an assault on the driver by bystanders.

The incident resulted in the death of a 53-year-old female motorcycle taxi driver. An elderly passenger in the pickup truck, identified as 68-year-old Mrs. Rampueang, sustained injuries and was transported to Bang Bua Thong Hospital. The pickup truck was found overturned at the scene with significant damage to its front bumper and windshield.
Following the collision, the pickup truck driver was reportedly assaulted by relatives of the deceased at the scene. The driver claimed that the motorcycle had cut in front of his vehicle suddenly, leaving him unable to brake in time.
