Thailand’s national boccia team has returned home after securing two gold and two bronze medals at the Seoul 2026 World Boccia Championships.
The Thai national boccia team arrived back in Thailand via Thai Airways flight TG653 following their successful performance at the Seoul 2026 World Boccia Championships. According to Khaosod Online, the team concluded the tournament with a total of two gold medals and two bronze medals, reinforcing Thailand's standing in international disability sports.
A major highlight of the campaign was the performance of Worawut Saengampa, known as "James," who secured his third world title. He defeated Indonesia’s Felix Ardi Yudha with a score of 3-2 to win the gold medal in the men’s individual BC2 category. This victory adds to his previous world championship titles earned in Beijing in 2014 and Liverpool.
