Police in Patong have apprehended a Kuwaiti man accused of spraying an unidentified substance at a pharmacist, leading to the victim's hospitalization.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Patong police have arrested a Kuwaiti national following an incident at 'Mukda Pharmacy' on Phra Barami Road in Patong, Phuket. On the night of September 2, 2026, the suspect allegedly entered the pharmacy under the guise of purchasing medication before spraying an unidentified substance from a perfume-like bottle directly at the pharmacist.
Following the exposure, the victim reportedly experienced severe physical symptoms, including difficulty speaking, loss of balance, rapid heartbeat, chest tightness, and near-fainting. The pharmacist required emergency transport to Patong Hospital for treatment. Local authorities, led by Patong Police Station, tracked down the suspect and seized the bottle used in the incident as evidence.
