GH Bank Launches Low-Interest Mortgage and Savings Campaign

Government Housing Bank (GH Bank) has introduced a new 0.73% interest rate mortgage and a 1.2% interest savings bond, alongside a massive clearance sale of over 12,000 properties.

According to a report by Prachachat Business on September 4, 2026, the Government Housing Bank (GH Bank) has launched a new financial initiative aimed at increasing home ownership accessibility in Thailand. Dr. Mahattana Ampornpisit, Managing Director of GH Bank, announced the introduction of a mortgage product featuring an interest rate of 0.73% per annum.

In addition to the mortgage offer, the bank has introduced a new savings bond with an interest rate of 1.20% per annum. To further support the initiative, the bank is conducting a large-scale clearance of over 12,000 properties, offering discounts of up to 50% on these assets.

For residents and those looking to invest in the Thai property market, these measures represent a significant effort to lower the financial barrier to entry for home buyers. The availability of discounted properties and low-interest financing may provide new opportunities for those seeking to purchase real estate.

While these programs are currently active, potential applicants should note that specific eligibility criteria and the terms of the mortgage and savings products are determined by the bank. Interested parties should contact GH Bank directly to confirm the availability of specific properties and the precise conditions required to qualify for the 0.73% interest rate, as these offers are subject to the bank's internal policies and inventory management.
