On September 4, 2026, Thai actress Sananthachat Thanapatpisal, accompanied by her attorney, met with Police Major General Siriwat Deepor, Commander of the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) Division 1. According to Thai Post, the actress sought to provide evidence regarding a suspicious incident involving a woman who contacted her via the LINE messaging application.
The individual reportedly claimed to be working on behalf of the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, alleging that high-ranking officials were interested in hiring the actress for professional work. The actress reported the interaction as a potential scam, prompting her to seek official intervention from cyber authorities.
