Central Park Unveils 2027 Strategy to Elevate Bangkok’s Global Tourism Appeal

Central Park has announced a strategic plan for 2027 aimed at positioning Bangkok as a premier global destination, targeting a 10% increase in annual foot traffic.

According to a report by Prachachat Business, Central Park is preparing a comprehensive strategy for 2027 to transform the venue into a key component of 'Bangkok’s World Stage.' Kunayuth Dech-udom, Assistant Managing Director of Asset Management, outlined three primary magnets designed to attract international tourists and solidify the center's status as a global destination.

The plan focuses on three pillars: attracting world-class brands to launch at the venue, hosting frequent events featuring high-profile artists, and collaborating with international content creators to boost global awareness. Through these initiatives, the management expects annual foot traffic to rise by 10%, potentially exceeding 27 million visits per year.

For travelers and residents, this development suggests a shift toward more high-profile international entertainment and retail experiences within the city. The increased focus on global branding and events may lead to a more vibrant, albeit busier, urban environment. While the management has expressed confidence in these growth projections, the specific lineup of international brands and the schedule of artists remain to be confirmed as the 2027 implementation date approaches.
