Allianz Ayudhya Targets 45% Growth in Unit-Linked Insurance
Allianz Ayudhya Life Insurance reports a 56% growth in unit-linked products over the first seven months of 2026 and aims for a 45% annual increase.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Allianz Ayudhya Life Insurance has announced an ambitious growth target for its unit-linked insurance products for 2026. The company aims to achieve a 45% growth rate, targeting total sales of 688 million baht. This follows a strong performance during the first seven months of the year, where the company recorded a 56% growth, reaching 333 million baht in first-year premiums.
To support this expansion, the insurer is actively increasing its workforce, specifically aiming to train 1,800 agents with Investment Consultant (IC) licenses. This strategic push has reportedly moved the company into second place in the market for unit-linked sales through the agency channel.
For residents and expatriates in Thailand, this development highlights the growing popularity of investment-linked insurance products within the local financial sector. While the company’s internal growth targets are clear, it remains to be seen how these aggressive recruitment and sales goals will impact the broader insurance landscape or the specific service offerings available to policyholders. As this is a corporate financial update, individuals interested in these products should consult with licensed financial advisors to understand how such shifts in market strategy might affect their personal insurance portfolios or long-term financial planning.
