Truck Fire on Highway 331 in Chonburi

On September 4, 2026, a 22-wheel trailer truck transporting concrete pipes caught fire while traveling on Highway 331 (Kabin Buri–Sattahip route) in the Nong Hiang sub-district of Chonburi province. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the incident occurred near Moo 15, prompting an emergency response from the Sawang Het Thung Hiang rescue unit and local firefighters.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found the truck's cabin engulfed in flames. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze within approximately 20 minutes. While the cabin and front section of the vehicle sustained significant damage, the concrete pipes remained on the trailer. Fortunately, the driver and a passenger were able to escape the vehicle before the fire spread, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.
