Canon Inspires Young Minds Through Science Education Initiative
Canon Thailand recently hosted an educational excursion for 148 primary school students and teachers to foster interest in science and innovation.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Canon Thailand organized a project titled 'Canon Volunteers: Taking Science Outside the Classroom.' The initiative provided 148 students and teachers from three primary schools with an immersive learning experience at the Rama IX Museum and the Futurearium innovation center, both operated by the National Science Museum (NSM) in Pathum Thani.
This program aims to spark curiosity in young students by moving science education beyond traditional classroom settings and into interactive, real-world environments. For residents and visitors interested in Thailand’s educational landscape, this event highlights the ongoing efforts by private corporations to collaborate with national institutions to promote STEM learning among the youth.
While the initiative successfully engaged these specific schools, it remains to be confirmed whether Canon plans to expand this program to include more schools or different regions across Thailand in the future.
