The discussions center on filling a vacant position for a Deputy Director-General, with four candidates reportedly under consideration based on seniority and performance metrics.
Media analysis has also suggested potential rotations involving the DSI Director-General, Pol. Maj. Suriya Praedam, and the Director-General of the Department of Probation, Pol. Capt. Piya Raksakul. Regarding these reports, Khemchat, a director serving as an aide to the Minister of Justice, stated that such personnel decisions remain at the discretion of the relevant supervisors.
