13-Year-Old Koh Samui Jet Ski Prodigy Wins Championship in Malaysia
Napat 'Boat' Meedech, a 13-year-old student from Koh Samui, secured first place in the youth jet ski category at a recent competition in Kuala Lumpur.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, 13-year-old Napat 'Boat' Meedech has achieved international recognition in the sport of jet skiing. Representing Thailand, the Koh Samui native competed in the 'Kundang Invitational Jet Sports Geopark Challenge 2026' held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 29, 2026.
Napat, a second-year junior high school student from Na Mueang sub-district, successfully secured the championship title in the 1100 Spark Beginner category for male youth aged 13–15. He has since returned to Koh Samui with his trophy, marking a significant milestone for the young athlete.
