PSU Trang Students Win National Awards for Sustainable Community Innovation

On August 30, 2026, a team from the Faculty of Commerce and Management at Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Trang Campus, achieved significant recognition at the Enactus Thailand National Exposition held at Samyan Mitrtown Hall in Bangkok. The student group, known as the 'PSU Trang Rak Kaew' club, secured two honors: the second runner-up prize at the national level, which included a 15,000 baht cash award, and the regional winner title for the Southern region in the Impact League category.

The team’s award-winning project focuses on the development of community products derived from Nypa palm (sea palm). By combining local wisdom with modern business concepts, the students aim to create value-added goods that strengthen the grassroots economy. The project utilizes a 'Co-Creation' process, fostering collaboration between students and local community members to ensure sustainable development aligned with global goals.
