BJC Successfully Closes 15 Billion Baht Debenture Offering

Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC) has successfully completed a 15 billion baht debenture sale, seeing demand exceed the target by 2.42 times.

According to a report by Prachachat Business on September 3, 2026, Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC) has successfully concluded its latest debenture offering. The company initially aimed to raise 15 billion baht; however, investor confidence drove demand to 2.42 times the target amount, resulting in a total subscription value of 19.1 billion baht.

Thapanee Techajareonvikul, CEO and President of BJC, noted that the strong response reflects significant investor trust in the company's financial standing and business direction.

For residents and travelers in Thailand, BJC is a major conglomerate involved in various sectors, including retail through Big C Supercenter and the production of consumer goods. While this financial milestone indicates a stable capital position for the company, it does not directly impact daily consumer prices or retail services.

At this stage, the company has confirmed the successful subscription figures. It remains to be seen how BJC will allocate the additional capital raised beyond the initial 15 billion baht target, as the company has not yet detailed specific investment plans for these surplus funds. Observers will be watching for future announcements regarding how this liquidity will be utilized to support the company's ongoing operations and expansion strategies.
