Nestlé Invests 6.4 Billion Baht to Expand Pet Food Production in Thailand
The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) has approved a 6.4 billion baht investment by Nestlé to establish a new pet food production facility in Rayong.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) has officially approved a significant investment project by Nestlé. The company plans to inject 6.4 billion baht into the expansion of its pet food manufacturing capabilities, with the new facility to be located at the Amata City Industrial Estate in Rayong province.
Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary-General of the BOI, noted that this investment is designed to meet the rising global demand for pet food products. Thailand currently holds the position of the world's second-largest exporter of pet food, and this project is expected to further solidify the nation's status as a key global production hub.
