Woman Arrested Following Drug-Induced Disturbance in Buriram
A woman under the influence of methamphetamine was arrested after trespassing into a resident's home and making false accusations.
On September 3, 2026, Khaosod Online reported an incident in Buriram province where a woman, identified as Ms. Pom, allegedly trespassed into the home of a 78-year-old resident in Ban Samliam, Hai Sok sub-district. According to the report, the incident occurred around 9:00 PM while the homeowner was resting. The suspect, reportedly suffering from hallucinations due to methamphetamine use, accused the resident of stealing a bank book containing 3 million baht before physically assaulting them.
The victim’s family shared video footage of the encounter on social media, expressing frustration over the suspect's history of repeated arrests and quick releases. Following the incident, local police apprehended the suspect and filed three charges: trespassing at night, illegal drug use, and property damage/defamation.
