Authorities Seize 500kg of Crystal Methamphetamine in Nonthaburi

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, law enforcement officials and military intelligence units conducted a raid on a house in the Bang Bua Thong district of Nonthaburi province on September 3, 2026. During the operation, authorities discovered 500 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine (ice) concealed within 56 cardboard boxes stored in the home's living area. The narcotics were packaged in tea bags marked with Chinese characters.

The raid followed an investigation into a drug trafficking network that had been using the property as a storage site. Officers identified a suspect driving a white Isuzu D-Max pickup truck with Bangkok license plates entering the premises, which led to the subsequent search and arrest.
