Somchai alleged that the subcommittee members relied primarily on summaries provided by the secretariat team and the Secretary-General of the Election Commission rather than conducting an independent review of the full case files. He further claimed that the actual time spent by the subcommittee members deliberating on these cases accounted for only 1% of their total meeting time. The subcommittee held meetings every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, spanning from November 4, 2025, to February 24, 2026.
