Thailand Announces September 30 Deadline for Welfare Card Appeal Results
The Ministry of Finance has confirmed that the results for the 2026 State Welfare Card appeals will be released on September 30, following a review process for 4.9 million applicants.
According to Khaosod Online, the Thai Ministry of Finance has provided an update on the 2026 State Welfare Card program. As of August 31, 2026, a total of 9,506,531 individuals have successfully passed the qualification checks. This figure includes 6,366,645 existing beneficiaries who did not need to re-verify their identities, and 3,139,886 individuals who are required to complete the electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) process.
For the 4.9 million individuals who did not initially pass the qualification criteria and subsequently filed appeals between August 17 and August 31, 2026, the Ministry has scheduled the official announcement of the appeal results for September 30, 2026. Winit Wisetsuwannaphum, spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, confirmed that the appeal submission period has now concluded.
For residents and expatriates, this update is significant as it clarifies the timeline for the finalization of state support distribution.
