Residents of Tha Ruea District, Ayutthaya, have erected a celebratory banner honoring national volleyball player Sasipaporn Janthawisut following her team's historic Asian Championship victory and Olympic qualification.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, the community of Tha Ruea District in Ayutthaya Province has come together to honor Sasipaporn 'Aomsin' Janthawisut, a key member of the Thailand women's national volleyball team. The local initiative, led by Phra Charatphong Kittiyano of Ban Thaeo Temple and local residents, involved the installation of a congratulatory banner at the village entrance.
This celebration follows the national team's recent success on Sunday, August 30, where they defeated China 3-2 to defend their Asian Championship title. This victory also secured Thailand's historic qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
