On September 1, 2026, officials from the Bang Lamung District and the Chonburi Provincial Commerce Office conducted inspections at Terminal 21 Pattaya. This initiative aims to prepare the area for the arrival of approximately 5,000 U.S. Navy personnel from the USS Abraham Lincoln, which is scheduled to dock at Laem Chabang Port from September 2 to September 6.
According to Khaosod Online, the inspections focus on ensuring that businesses clearly display price tags for goods and services to prevent price gouging.
