Thai State Enterprises Exceed Revenue Targets for Fiscal Year 2026
Thailand's state-owned enterprises have surpassed their fiscal revenue targets, contributing over 197 billion baht to the national treasury.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO) has announced that state-owned enterprises and government securities generated 197,356 million baht in revenue during the first 11 months of the 2026 fiscal year (October 2025 to August 2026). This figure represents 120% of the cumulative collection plan and exceeds the annual target of 182,600 million baht.
The Government Lottery Office led the contributions with 47,388 million baht, followed by PTT Public Company Limited at 33,754 million baht, the Vayupak Fund 1 at 19,202 million baht, and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand at 18,244 million baht.
For residents and travelers, this strong fiscal performance indicates a stable economic environment supported by major state entities. While these figures reflect robust revenue collection, they do not necessarily translate into immediate changes in public service pricing or infrastructure development. It remains to be confirmed how the government will allocate these surplus funds in the final month of the fiscal year and whether this trend will influence future budgetary policies. The data provided by SEPO serves as a snapshot of the current financial health of these key national institutions.
