Thai Union Ingredients Launches Longevity Portfolio at Vitafoods Asia 2026

Thai Union Ingredients (TUI) has introduced a new tuna-based 'Longevity' product line aimed at the health and elderly care markets.

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Thai Union Ingredients (TUI), a subsidiary of Thai Union Group PCL, has unveiled its new 'Longevity' portfolio at the Vitafoods Asia 2026 event, held from September 2 to 4, 2026. The product line focuses on innovative tuna-derived ingredients, specifically DHA fish oil, collagen, and bio-calcium, which are marketed to support brain function, skin health, and bone density.

Leena Ueabamrungjit, Senior Director of the Ingredients Business Group at Thai Union, stated that the company aims to promote healthy aging through these solutions. TUI distinguishes its offerings by managing the entire tuna supply chain, from sourcing to extraction and processing, rather than relying on multiple external suppliers. The company emphasizes that these products are backed by scientific research.

For residents and visitors in Thailand, this development highlights the country's growing role in the global functional food and health supplement industry. While the company has presented its research and supply chain integration, the long-term market impact and the specific availability of these ingredients in consumer-facing retail products remain to be confirmed. Consumers interested in these health solutions should monitor further announcements regarding product distribution and clinical application.
