Thailand’s State Enterprises Exceed Revenue Targets for 2026
The State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO) reports that state-owned enterprises have surpassed their 2026 revenue targets within the first 11 months.
According to a report from Prachachat Business, the State Enterprise Policy Office (SEPO) has announced that state-owned enterprises in Thailand have collected 197 billion baht in revenue during the first 11 months of the 2026 fiscal year. This figure has already exceeded the annual target of 182 billion baht set for the year.
SEPO Director-General Tibodee Wattanakul stated that the agency expects total revenue for the full fiscal year to reach approximately 203 billion baht. Beyond these financial results, the office is actively promoting Public-Private Partnership (PPP) investments, including a notable project involving a cancer center in collaboration with Thammasat University.
For residents and travelers, this strong fiscal performance by state enterprises suggests a stable economic environment for government-managed services and infrastructure projects. The increased revenue may provide the state with more flexibility to fund public initiatives and development programs.
While these figures indicate a successful fiscal period, it remains to be confirmed how these surplus funds will be allocated in the upcoming budget cycles. Observers will be watching to see if this revenue growth leads to tangible improvements in public services or if it will be directed toward further large-scale infrastructure investments.
